Design Engineer
We specialise in the design, manufacture and support of downhole tools and instruments for the oil and gas industry. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic electronic/firmware engineer to join our development team. We are looking for an individual who can take a lead in challenging design and development projects. Applicants should be degree qualified and able to demonstrate at least three years successful preformance in an ISO9000 design environment. Experience of instrumentation design, embedded micro-controller design systems and switch mode power supplies is particularly relevant. You would have to be professional, presentable and comfortable in dealing with customers. You should also be able to show an appreciation for planning, budgeting and time management.

Senior
Technician
He/she must be capable of supervising and
training junior technicians and assembly operators. Must
have worked within an ISO-9000/1 environment and be familiar
with routing and planning jobs to meet delivery dates.
We would expect you to have a good technical background
in high temperature electronics and be able to teach faultfinding
to component level. Good degree or less qualified with
some supervisory track record considered. Promotion to
supervisory post open to person showing ability to meet
production deadlines and improve throughput. Company sponsored
management qualification for people showing aptitude and
enthusiasm.
Electronics
Assembly/Test Technician
Person with experience of PCB assembly and
soldering to a high degree of precision and reliability
required for busy production facility. Experience with
high temperature solder and surface mount required. Flexible
hours if required.
Trainee
Electronics Technician
Persons to train as PCB assemblers. Day
release open to move up to technician level. Some work
experience post school required and standard Grade in
Physics and Maths.
