A. Battery Pack - this can vary in size from a AA pack to multiple C-cell packs depending on the application.

B. Intelligent Trigger - this programmable module contains a pressure transducer, temperature transducer and accelerometer as well as all the logic circuitry and memory required for data gathering and decision making. This module can be programmed such that up to 5 independent conditions must be met before an initiation signal can be sent to the voltage generator module.

C. Production Logging Tools - with some additional software, the Intelligent Trigger can take the place of a Memory Module for Nan Gall's and 3rd party production logging tools.

D. Voltage Generator Module - this module is specific to the type of initiator being used. It could be a straight feed through for non-critical operations or a complex high voltage generator for specific SAFE initiators

E. Pressure & Temperature Safety Sub - this purely mechanical module prevents any electrical feed-through until certain pressure and temperature thresholds are exceeded - providing an additional 2 safety interlocks.

F. Shock Absorber - this optional module provides added protection to the tool string from potential shock from below.

G. The device to be activated - this can range from a simple sampler through plugs or packers to perforating guns.
